Medical Equipment
Often times we fly patients who have pieces of EMS equipment still attached to them. This equipment is usually owned by squads or hospitals. We make every attempt to ship this equipment back to you in a timely manner, realizing that equipment can be in short supply at times.
However, we cannot do this if your FULL NAME is not on straps, head blocks and long boards. We end up with straps, blocks, and occasionally back boards that sit in the hanger in hopes that the owner will call and describe it so we can ship it home.
We'd like to make a few recommendations on what to include for information on your equipment:
Back boards: Entire Service name, entire address and phone number
Head Blocks: Entire Service name and state
Straps: Entire Service name and state
Splints: Entire Service name and state
We want to return your equipment as quickly as possible, but we can only do so if you help us.
