The Office of Professional Nursing supports a wide range of educational opportunities for nurses at DHMC. Read more about education for nurses.

DHMC also sponsors three training programs leading to certification:

• School of Surgical Technology. In less than a year, students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to assist members of the entire intraoperative team.
• You do not need to have healthcare experience to apply for our five-week Licensed Nursing Assistant Training Program. Those accepted are paid during the training program, with the understanding that they will pass the New Hampshire State LNA licensing exam and work at DHMC.
• Medical/Clinical Secretary Training Program. DHMC will be accepting applications June 25, 2009 through August 22, 2009. To apply, please call (603) 653-0400 or stop by DHMC Human Resources, Novell Building, 30 Lafayette St, Lebanon, NH to request a training application packet. Applications will be available on July 27 and accepted through August 22 for our the September 28th class.
