The Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) was prominently featured in a recent episode of ABC's hit television show Extreme Makeover Home Edition. The complete episode is available online (Episode #710).

The show focused on the Marshall family of Lyme, N.H. and in particular, 10-year-old Cameron Marshall. Cam's inspirational story of perseverance and positivity has touched many people at CHaD and DHMC. While undergoing treatment for leukemia, Cam found out that his blood type was B+. He decided to make that his mantra in both spirit and practice. Cam and the entire Marshall family soon turned their focus to others, and Cam decided to expand his personal motto to benefit all CHaD kids and families and thus, the Cam's Be Positive for CHaD Kids movement was launched.

CHaD is New Hampshire's only children's hospital, and provides an extended system of care that offers advanced pediatric services for children throughout the region. CHaD's physician expertise provides primary, specialty, and tertiary care to the children of New Hampshire, Vermont, and beyond.

The B+ for CHaD Kids movement is operated with the expressed permission of The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation (www.BePositive.org).
