Northern Region Release Notes
A CIS Release was deployed Wednesday, May 13th. Details of the release content are listed below.
Several Meds and other compliance changes
-- Inpatient meds appearing in combined view but not inpatient meds view fix when admit date different then arrived date
-- The "Last Charted On" date will now appear when NKA and/or Not on Meds is either auto or quick inserted into notes
-- New RX disposition: 'Given in Clinic'
-- G-Tube/J-Tube: this additional route of administration will now be available for all oral medications
-- Preference added to automatically open next Rx Task in Tasklist
-- Immunizations: When entering an immunization it is a required Federal Law that the VIS (Vaccine Information Statement) area be filled out
Patient Summary screen changes
-- The Other MRNs button will now be available when viewing a patient that has multiple CIS records, ensuring clinicians are aware of, and can more easily navigate to, all clinical documentation available online for the patient
-- Additional phone numbers and seasonal addresses captured in Registration will now be viewable within CIS
Other changes
-- Allow non-Billing mid-level providers to order Cytopathology and Dermatopathology requisitions sooner
-- Add pain location to the Pain Scale in Flowsheets
