Health Education Programs

The Center for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences (CCEHS) sponsors health education programs for DHMC employees, Dartmouth employees, and the general public. These include:

  • Dartmouth Community Medical School
    These public courses about medical science and health care are taught by Dartmouth Medical School faculty. Offered in Hanover, NH each spring, and in Manchester, NH in the fall.

  • Great Issues in Medicine and Global Health Symposium
    The objective of this yearly symposium is to engage the general community in discussions about contemporary healthcare issues, such as addiction. The three-day event is offered in the fall, and is open to the public.

  • DHMC Health Improvement Program (HIP)
    Open to DHMC employees, this program aims to motivate employees to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle, and to minimize the risk of lifestyle-related diseases. Note: you can only access this website from within the DHMC network.
