The White River Junction Veterans Affairs Regional Medical and Office Center serves veterans in Vermont, New Hampshire and Canada. Nationally known for its cutting-edge programs in post traumatic stress disorders, ethics and spinal cord injury, the VAMC serves as a clinical teaching site for medical students and residents. The hospital is a modern 60-bed facility that offers a full range of medical and surgical services. The outpatient services include general clinics, hospital-based home care, ambulatory surgery, and a rural Mobile Health Van.
