Coffey
1. Perioperative and longitudinal assessments of DBS in PD, dystonia and tremor
2. NINDS center grant to study neuroprotective agents in Parkinson disease
3. fMRI in MCI, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease
4. Merck study of MK-0677 in SDAT

Greenough
1. Coexistence of sleep disorders in IPD and ALS

Holmes
1. Consequences of seizures on the neonatal brain. We are interested in the basic mechanisms of seizure- induced cognitive dysfunction. We are particularly interested in the alteration of neuronal circuits through activity-dependent mechanisms. The laboratory has expertise in both in-vivo and in-vitro electrophysiology, behavior testing, and immunohistochemistry.
2. Evaluation of potential neuroprotective agents in seizure-induced brain injury.
3. We plan to start a multicenter AED trial in very young children destined to develop pharmacoresistant epilepsy.
4. I also have a research interest on the effects of "subclinical" EEG discharges on cognitive function.

Jobst
1. Frontal lobe epilepsy and SMA Epilepsy
2. Long-term outcomes after temporal lobectomy
3. Electroclinical correlation of secondary generalized seizures and their propagation patterns
4. FLAIR - Imaging after failed epilepsy surgery
5. Alternative motor stimulation for cortical motor mapping
6. Natural progesteron in catamenial epilepsy

Kasper
1. MS treatment trials
2. Toxoplasmosis, cerebral malaria and grp B strep studies.

Levin
1. Botulinum toxin in the treatment of cervicogenic headache, and chronic daily headache
2. Therapeutic exercise in migraine
3. Relationship between MS and recurrent headache
4. Handedness, pain and migraine
5. PFO and migraine
6. Novel agents for acute migraine

Lukovits
1. PFO closure trial
2. Carotid stenting trials
