Cystic fibrosis (also known as CF) is a genetic disorder that affects the respiratory, digestive, and reproductive systems. Over 30,000 children and adults in the United States have CF.

All babies born in New Hampshire are now required to have a newborn cystic fibrosis screening test.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Cystic Fibrosis Program is New Hampshire's most comprehensive CF treatment center. Our mission is to provide compassionate, responsive, collaborative care for people and their families affected by CF.

• We see patients at DHMC Lebanon and at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Manchester.
  
  
• Both sites offer a variety of services, including common CF tests, CF treatments, and information about living with CF.
  
  
• The CF Patient & Family Advisory & Advocacy Committee is made up of CF patients and family members of people with CF. The group seeks to enhance both the medical care of CF patients and their quality of life.
