Application format
- We only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).
Interview dates
- We generally interview from late October through January, primarily on Mondays and Fridays. We make every effort to coordinate your interviews with other anesthesiology programs in the region.
- When you come for your interview, you will attend a dinner with a group of current residents the evening before the interviews. The next day, interviews start at 8:00 am and finish by 2:30 pm. The interview day begins with an introductory session with the department Chairman, and is comprised of four faculty interviews (including the Program Director), a luncheon with current residents, a tour of our institution (including specific tours of Critical Care Medicine and Pain Management, as well as the Simulation Center), and a final wrap-up session with the Department Chairman.
Position availability
- We have five PGY-1 positions for July 2010 and two PGY-2 positions for 2011. The program runs from three to four years.

- We sponsor only J-1 visas.
- We do not have a USMLE Score requirement (must have passed the exam).
- We do not have a "year of graduation" requirement.
- One year of U.S. clinical experience is required for PGY-2 applicants.
