Decision Aid Library
Decision aids are tools that help with healthcare decisions. These tools help people understand the likely outcomes of the options they face and think about their values as they relate to the risks and benefits of each option. They may be videotapes, audiotapes with workbooks, booklets, CD-ROMs, or Web sites.
The shared decision making videos offered by our library are developed by the Foundation for Informed Medical Decision Making and licensed and distributed by Health Dialog, Inc.
Materials can be viewed at our offices or checked out to use at home. The web-based decision aids and the Healthcare Decision Guide can be accessed from any computer.
