Medical insurance
If you have medical insurance, it is best to ask your insurance company what coverage you have before you talk with our financial counselor.
Financing your treatment yourself
It is possible for patients to self-finance if fertility treatments are not covered on their medical insurance. DHMC works with one specific finance company, CareCredit, Inc. This company offers multiple payment plans including a no-interest payment option for up to 12 months. Care Credit can be used to pay for infertility services and treatments at the Lebanon campus only. It also cannot be used to purchase medication at this time. To apply for Care Credit on the website, a patient must apply for "Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic." The website does not recognize any providers' names.
Be sure to read all the terms and conditions that apply to the finance plans before applying.
CareCredit plans are helpful for people without coverage; however, they must be paid on time, or the 12-month 0% or 2-5 yr. at 11.9% plans increase to 28.99% on the entire amount of the loan.
