Pediatric Hematology and Oncology offers comprehensive care for children with blood disorders and cancer. Patients are cared for in the inpatient unit of Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (ChaD) and in the daily outpatient clinics in the Cancer Center. Whenever possible children receive therapy and undergo diagnostic tests close to home under the guidance of their primary health care provider, with support from our program. Members of the Nursing staff, Patient and Family Relations , the Child Life Program, Chaplaincy Services, and the adult Section of Hematology/Oncology play key roles in the comprehensive management of patients.
