Quality Improvement Program
National Spine Network (NSN) survey is an important portion of patient clinical assessment and care. This survey is part of a national effort to improve the quality of spine care.
The National Spine Network Survey (NSN) is in the form of an electronic questionnaire. The patient fills out the questionnaire on a laptop computer that one of the receptionists will set up and give to them prior to their visit in the clinic. Appointments are scheduled to allow time to complete the survey prior to seeing a clinician.
Data from the survey is used in the clinical care process:
- As a key part of patient assessment
- To track individual and group progress.
Data is accumulated and analyzed daily:
- To measure clinical outcomes
- To study effective interventions for our patient's spine problems.
This data is used by the team on an ongoing basis to improve care and services.
