Adult Knee & Hip Reconstruction Fellowship
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is pleased to announce a new opening for a Fellow in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction, to begin in August 2007. The fellowship offers qualified applicants the opportunity to participate in a busy and diverse arthroplasty service as a junior faculty member, with mentorship from six surgeons who together perform nearly 1,400 hip and knee procedures per year.
Comprehensive surgical and research experience is available in knee and hip reconstruction, including minimally invasive techniques, hip and knee arthroscopy, osteotomy and a significant volume of knee and hip revision arthroplasty. Unique research opportunities are available at the Dartmouth Biomedical Engineering Center under the supervision of Drs. John Collier and Michael Mayor, and through the Medicare Claims Data Research Unit with Dr. James Weinstein.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 training years.
